Terms & Conditions

(a) TRANSPORT

Tailored Tours clients will be collected from / taken to airports etc in person by Andrew Gray (unless notified otherwise). For this and for all tours you will travel in a air-conditioned Renault Espace people carrier

The vehicle used for Tailored Tours is maintained in a clean, comfortable and serviceable condition

(b) INSURANCE

Andrew Gray has full private hire insurance for the purposes of the Tailored Tours business. While every effort is made by Tailored Tours to ensure the safety and comfort of clients while in transit and when visiting sites during the tours, clients are asked to observe any rules / regulations posted at each particular site

(c) CHARGES & RATES

Current rates for all Tailored Tours services are available on request. Full-day or half-day tours are charged at an hourly rate. Rates for longer itineraries may differ and will include a booking fee for assistance with accomodation etc

In the event of unscheduled and long delays to flights etc there will be an additional charge based on the current hourly rate

Admission to historic houses, gardens or other visitor sites is charged at concessionary rates where available and otherwise at the advertised prices

(d) PAYMENT

Payment for tours can be made either in person to Andrew Gray or via the clients’ hotel if preferred

Payment made direct to Andrew Gray can be by cash or Sterling cheque (or travellers cheque), cheques being made payable to ‘Tailored Tours’ or secure credit card payments can be made via Paypal. A deposit is required to confirm a tour booking. This deposit is deducted from the total charge for any tours.

In the event of tours being cancelled with less than 48 hours notice when these tours were arranged either via the hotel or booked in advance with Andrew Gray, the deposit for the full trip will be retained by Tailored Tours

Likewise in the event of airport and other collections or drop-offs being cancelled with less than 24 hours notice any deposit paid over for the booking will be retained to cover loss of business
