Tailored Tours clients will be collected from / taken to airports etc in person by Andrew Gray (unless notified otherwise). For this and for all tours you will travel in an air-conditioned comfortable 7 seater vehicle.
Andrew Gray has full private hire insurance for the purposes of the Tailored Tours business. While every effort is made by Tailored Tours to ensure the safety and comfort of clients while in transit and when visiting sites during the tours, clients are asked to observe any rules / regulations posted at each particular site.
(c) CHARGES & RATES
Current rates for all Tailored Tours services are available on request. Full-day or half-day tours are charged at an hourly rate. Rates for longer itineraries may differ and will include a booking fee for assistance with accommodation etc.
In the event of unscheduled and long delays to flights etc there will be an additional charge based on the current hourly rate.
Admission to historic houses, gardens or other visitor sites is charged at concessionary rates where available and otherwise at the advertised prices.
Payment for tours can be made either in person to Andrew Gray or via a clients’ hotel if preferred. A deposit is normally required to confirm a tour booking. This deposit is deducted from the total cost of the tour.
Payment can be by cash or Sterling cheque (cheques being made payable to ‘Tailored Tours’) or secure credit card payments can be made via Paypal.
Day Tours : In the event of tours being cancelled with less than 1 week’s notice, when these have been booked in advance with Andrew Gray, the deposit for the full trip will be retained by Tailored Tours.
Extended Tours : In the event of such trips being cancelled with more than 1 month’s notice, the deposit (normally 10% ot the total cost) will be retained by Tailored Tours. In the case of such trips being cancelled within 2 weeks of the start date, 25% of the total cost for the full trip will be charged.
